Difference between bronchial asthma and cardiac asthma.
               Bronchial Asthma.
It is caused by mainly allergic reaction.
It is much acute.
Pulmonary oedema is absent.
Productive cough that is frothy.
No cardiac arrhythmias.
They respond adequately to cortcosteroids and bronchodilators.
Restricted to the respiratory system.
               Cardiac Asthma.
Caused by left ventricular failure.
May be acute or gradual.
Pulmonary oedema is present.
Productive cough that is frothy and sometimes with streaks of blood.
Cardiac arrthymias are present.
They respond adequately to digitalis and bronchodilators.
Restricted to both heart and lungs.
