NEUROSIS
1.It is cause by psychogenic(psychological) factors
2.Personality is intact
3.No illusions and hallucinations
4.No delusions
5.No mood change
6.Recurrent and chronic without treatment
7.Severee anxiety
8.Patient is aware that he is sick
9.Patient seek for treatment and may be treated at the OPD basis
10.There is no instant gratification.
PSYCHOSIS
1.It is cause by psychogenic and organic factors
2.Personality is disorganized
3.There are illusions and hallucinations
4.There is delusions
5.There is sudden change in mood
6.Symptims are acute and severe and may become chronic
7.Low level anxiety
8.Patient is not aware that he is sick
9.Patient may refuse treatment and may need admission
10.There is an instant gratification.
