TERMS AND ITS DIFINITION OF PSYCHOSIS SYMPTOMS
1.Disorientation:This is where the sick person is unable to perceive time,recognize people or become aware of his surroundings.
2.Stupor:The sick person is aware of what is happening around him but do not react to events in his surroundings.
3.Blunt affect:There is reduced intensity in ones feelings. One do not express much emotionwhen affected in any way.
4.Flat affect:There is almost no feeling tone. One do not laugh or cry when the situation demand that.
5.Labile affect:There is rapid and sudden change in ones emotional state or feeling( mood swing).
6.Word Salad: Cluster of words without any logical connection.
7.Waxy flexibility:The person maintains whatever position he has been placed.
8.Kleptomania: Compulsion to steal(usually less valuable objects)
9.Echolalia:Pathologic repetition of phrases or words of other person.
10.Echopraxia:Pathologic repitition or immitation of other persons movement.
